Start Your Journey 
    Pick up your gameboard at the library. 
    There are 3 summer game options
    (1) Pre-reader (2) Kids and Teens and (3)Adult. 
    If you start late, you can make up time by reading extra to catch up.

Track Your Reading

Visit the Library Weekly
    Stop by each week to collect tracking stickers and a raffle ticket.
    o    Visit Square One
    o    Stop by the library on Sticker Drop Saturdays-new stickers and
          library fun!

Earn Rewards 

Go for Gold! 
Read every week until the end to earn a Golden Ticket for the grand prize raffle.

Pre-Reader 
Summer Reading Program

Get your child ready to read with this fun summer game for babies and pre-readers. This interactive game will guide parents through a regular routine of activities that prepare their children to be future readers.

Game Rules
Read. Write. Sing. Talk. Play. These are the fundamental activities to this game. Work your way around the board and interact with your child according to each pictograph activity. Track your place on the board with library provided tracking stickers.

Visit the Library 
Collect up to 8 raffle tickets (8 visits) for visiting the library between June 2 and August 2. Collect an additional 8 raffle tickets if you visit every Saturday between June 7 and July 26.

Earn Rewards
After you have moved forward 16 activities, you'll have made it halfway. Visit the library to receive a book as your halfway prize.

Summer Reading Game

Welcome to the Wizard's Journey--a new reading adventure and interactive story in one. You are a wizard that has accidentally turned yourself into a cat and now you must find your way back to a human by reading every day.

Game Rules
Begin your journey on your gameboard on Week One/Chapter One. Progress along the gameboard to each circle by reading for 30 minutes or reading one picture book. As you progress place a library provided tracking sticker on to each circle. When you reach a new chapter read the next chapter in the story.

Visit the Library
Collect up to 8 raffle tickets (8 visits) for visiting the library between June 2 and August 2. In addition collect up to 4 raffle tickets (4 visits) for visiting square one. Collect up to 8 more raffle tickets by visiting every Saturday between June 7 and July 26.

Earn Rewards
After 16 spaces on the gameboard you will have made it halfway. Visit the library to receive a book as your halfway prize.

Adult 
Summer Reading Program

Build your reading habit this summer with the Library. All you have to do is read every day. Keep your goal simple by reading in regular sessions or challenge yourself by completing activities with your reading sessions.

Game Rules
Choose which side of the reading tracker you would like to do--reading only or reading with activities. If reading with activities follow the prompts in whatever order you would like. Each reading session can be as little as  10 minutes to as much as a whole day. It's your challenge. Shade each book spine as you complete reading sessions.
